Wondering what support could suit your home? Request a free home solar assessment. Only your name and email are needed to enquire.

Home Solar & Battery Grants
Eligible homes can receive up to €1,800 for solar PV, plus €600 for a battery of at least 5kWh. Homes must be built and occupied before 2025 and have an MPRN. Previous funding for the same measure excludes that measure. Apply and receive SEAI approval before installation starts. Solar PV and battery grants can be requested together.

Business & Farm Solar Grants
SEAI lists enhanced Non-Domestic Microgen support from 6 October 2026 to 6 July 2027, capped at €325,200. Payment is the lower of your approved grant or 45% of invoiced costs. The scheme covers eligible businesses, farms, schools and community organisations. Existing offers are not increased. Receive your grant offer before starting work; the amount depends on system size and scheme rules.
DCA & Enhanced Solar Grants
Domiciliary Care Allowance (DCA) is a qualifying Department of Social Protection payment for SEAI's enhanced solar grants. Eligible homeowners may receive up to €8,400 for solar PV up to 4kWp, plus €600 for an eligible battery of at least 5kWh: up to €9,000 combined. This is the maximum combined support under the enhanced route; the standard solar PV grant is not added on top.
The home must meet the scheme rules, including being built and occupied before 2025, having an MPRN and no previous funding for the same measure. Apply and receive your SEAI grant offer before installation starts. Other qualifying welfare payments and the separate Warmer Homes route have their own eligibility rules.
